About the School Counseling Department
Our Mission
The mission of the South Cobb Counseling Department is to achieve our vision of helping students reach their full potential to become productive and informed change agents in a global society. We aim to achieve this by providing all students with a comprehensive school counseling program which advocates for equal access to opportunity and includes curriculum aimed at student achievement. Through a collaborative effort with the support of students, parents, faculty, staff, central office, and community stakeholders, the school counselors will help meet individual student needs and guide them to become effective leaders in a diverse and changing society.
